BOO at the ZOO!

I had super Saturday this morning in my ward and had signed up to make some crafts. So when Erik, his dad and his sister decided that it would be fun to go to the Zoo today dressed up, I was a little bummed. But I got her ready to be Tinkerbell and off they went to the zoo!

Ghost

On Saturday we took Denique to a children's play. The play was the Counterville Ghost. I thought since kids were playing the parts that it couldnt be that scary, and Eriks cousin was playing in it. (it wasnt scary but I am also 24 and Denique is almost 3) She watched the whole thing not being scared, sat by herself didnt need to be held. At intermission she ran and played with all her aunts and uncles, not saying anything about how the play was scary. If anyone asked her about it she said she liked it. I didnt think anything about it, so Saturday night when we put her to bed and everything was normal I thought she would be ok. She woke saying that there was a scary ghost in her room, I just put her back to bed and she was fine. The next morning she didn't say anything about it. Well Last night, oh last night, poor girl. She woke up crying and I sent Erik into get her. (Lately she hasn't liked when her dad goes in and usually I end up going in to put her back to bed. She listens to me but not to him) As soon as he open the door and saw it was him she screamed (like she was being tortured, it was not just a normal one, it was straight out of a horror movie) then all I hear is Erik saying " oh my heck, what the heck, Denique, Denique!" By this time, which is like 4 seconds total, I am out of bed running to them. So many thoughts going through my head. Is her room on Fire? She has little pumpkin lights in her room and I am always paranoid about it. Did someone break her window? I would have heard it. When I saw them she was kicking punching and screaming at Erik because he had picked her up. She has never done this. She came right to me and clung to me for dear life. She wouldnt even let me pull her away to just look at her face. I had to hold her for like 5 minutes, with her clinging to me and saying that she was scared. I finally was able to talk to her while still holding her but I could see her face and she kept telling me to hold her tight and her big eyes were looking around the room. Needless to say she slept in my bed the rest of the night. So my theory of why she was scared of Erik is because he sleeps in his Garments, (all white like a ghost) and she thought he was one then he picked her up which scared her!
I am hoping that this will go away but until then, anyone have any ideas to get rid of ghosts?

Deciding to blog....

I am going to try to start blogging again. I read the cutest, funniest blogs all the time, and I am jealous of these people. I want something to look at and remember all the little things that I might forget. its been a year since a last blogged and I think of all the things that went unmentioned. So here is to blogging. Here is to my new goal of blogging, and trying to to keep a better journal of my life.

I have been missing in Action!! I havent had a post since June!! HAHA sorry! I need to be better at blogging but am finding it hard to find time to do it!!

Here are some things that are going:

Erik is super busy with work. He usually works a full day at American Shredding then goes over to the gym with me and works till 8 p.m. He is pulling some long hours but I am sure thankful he is there to help me!

Michelle: Is stressed, happy, nervous, excited and many more emotions! Life is crazy. Here is how a normal week looks for me.

Monday: RHS Cheer in the morning home with Denique cleaning and being a mom (if not grocery shopping or running around town) ace at 4 till about 8:30

Tuesday: Being a mom, wife and housekeeper til about 2:00 then i go to the high school to work the cheer competition team there then straight over to Ace at 4:00 til about 8:30

Wednesday: RHS cheer in the morning, Stroms Repair from about 9:30-3:15 then straight to Ace from 4:00-9:15

Thursday: stay home with denique, RHS jv game at 3:00 then straight to ace from about 5:30-10:00

Friday: RHS Cheer then straight to stroms til about 4:00!

Saturday: clean house, yard work, clean Ace and any other things that is needed.

Sunday: Church and relax and get ready to start over!!!

On the good side, Ace is picking up like crazy! This was my best week yet!! I had 14 Thats right 14 new clients call in to come try a practice or they did come try a practice!! That is huge for me!! That is all the clients that I had last year!!! and I am hoping that I gain about that in one week!! I would be happy to gain 1/2 of those. Actually i would be happy with one new client. But hopefully more join!!

Denique: is growing like crazy! Everytime i look at her she looks so big and I am reminded that she is not a baby any more that she is full blown toddler!! She is also so smart and she loves to be at the gym (as long as she gets to be out with the teams and not stuck in the office with dad) she is picking up on all the cheer and tumbling skills just from watching. Hopefully I can post some videos of her being funny!!

I'm Back!!

Hey Y'all! I have been M.I.A for awhile but I am finally back to blogging. A lot has been happening at our household. Erik and I have been really busy getting the business started and going, but it is going well. Denique is 18 months old now!! She is such a big girl and not a baby! Makes me sad to think that my little girl is growing up so fast. She went to nursery for the first time and she loved it. She didnt even cry!! She actually didnt want to leave she kept going to back to her teacher. We have had a great start to the summer, so far we have gone swimming at Grandmas, went to the splash park with our cousins, Erik and I went on the MDA Ride (motorcycle ride), Denique slept at Grandma's (only the second time I have left her overnight) Denique was on Studio 5 on channel 5 modeling tu-tus, and we went to lagoon and we have a lot more planned!! I love spending time with Denique so much, She is so smart, and she is talking so much.

My computer has been acting weird so I have been using our other one. Unfortunately there are no pictures on this computer and so I kept putting of the blog. I am going to try to get on my computer in the next few days and hopefully it doesn't freeze on me.

Anyways we are enjoying the new spring weather. Denique always wants to be outside. She is really into her baby dolls right now. She Keeps me entertained.

Erik and I are busy with the business. We are hoping to close on our loan at the end of this week and start painting and getting the new building ready.

Hopefully a better post and some pics will be up in the next few days.

All the people in California are so lucky they get to have my wonderful Brother in law Ethan AKA Elder Brown as a missionary there!!

He got his call a few months ago. We were all really excited. Then on tuesday he was set apart. (Breanna and I missed it becuase of cheer practice) but then he left yesterday to the M.T.C.

He is going to be the best missionary and we sure will miss him and his great sense of humor. He is such a spiritual person, I know for a fact that he will change many lives. What a blessing he is to the family.

Two days down only 728 more to go!!

lil bit of this and that..

I havent posted in a while and well thats because there is no time. Seriously where did the last few weeks go? Anyways here are some things that has been happening.

The Gymnastics center I rent from for my business moved to Lehi.

and boy do I have some mad parents. I dont blame them it is a little out of the way but really only like 7 more minute drive. Also on January 16th my girls did their very first competition. We were so Nervous!! The girls were terrified. (none of them have really done it before) and we were against eight other teams. They did so good. a few things went wrong with some falls and what not but they did great for their first time. We ended up taking 6th place. Which seems like not a very good place but they only called the top 6 teams and were one of them. The girls were excited and ready to take on another competition.

Speaking of the business we finally have our business plan ready. We meet with a loan officer on monday to see if we can get funding for our own place. (please pray that we can!)

Sweet, Sweet Church.

That is now so hard to pay attention in. I cant even tell you what they taught on last week. We moved to the 11 oclock hour this year and so far it is so much better. First of all we make it there for the Sacrement. Second of all the drive makes denique pretty tired and I can usually have her asleep for sacrement and maybe even a little of the second class. But R.S. I dont hear a thing. I am too busy trying to keep her sitting down and not running all over the place. Oh Well only like four more months until she can go into the nursery. If any moms have any ideas to keep 14 months old behaving let me know.

Computers....
My computer has been acting up lately. Do I want it fixed...yes of course, do I want to pay for it....no I really dont. Hopefully My husband or brother in law will be able to fix it. cross you fingers.

Also my brother in law Ethan is coming over to help Erik fix my website. I was going to say check it out but I will tell you that when it is fixed. Also they are going to be doing a promo video for Ace All-Star. Depending on how well they do on it maybe I will post it.

I am a month late but here is Denique's FIRST Birthday post!! We had lots of fun on her Birthday with both sides of the family there. She was spoiled rotten with Presents!!! She is one lucky lady.

Playin Catch-up

I think I am getting worse and worse at blogging. I seem to be running out of time.

Christmas is just around the corner. This year I surprised myself and finished shopping super early. (except that I usually do the shopping for my mom from my dad and he always gives me the money like one week til Christmas which stresses me out so hopefully one of my sisters got that job this year.) I finished shopping for everyone I needed to on December 7th!! That is good if you ask me. Well I havent updated the blog for a while. We had Niquie's First Birthday Party on November 21st. We had so many family members there I was scared my house wouldnt be big enough but I sent the kids down stairs (to an unfinished basement. rude?-maybe) so it worked out great. Erik and I set up the night before we were so excited for Niquie to turn one (also unreal and sad) I will have more and better pictures to post soon (no pressure Carlye- haha) On Deniques real birthday we celebrated quietly at home. Erik bought her a Christmas wreath cupcake and we put her candle on it. She loved it and actually knew what to do with it right away. (Her birthday party she was a little shy until Her Uncle Coby helped her). I cant believe she is one already. I have enjoyed the last year so much. She definately makes me a better person.

We had the first big snowfall so I decided that Niquie and I would shovel the walk while daddy was working. We got her all bundled up and went out side. She really didnt know what to do. It was also bitter cold. She stayed outside for about 15 minutes with me and then went inside.

The Harmons at the District had a Santa there and they were taking free pictures with him. He was an actual good Santa, (not a fake beard and what not) so I decided it would be better then to pay $20.00 at the mall for a 4x6 photo. She did not like santa at all and pushed and squirmed(spell?) out of his arms. The pictures are not the great but still super funny. She was not happy. Do you think I should give it another try? I know that she might cry which I am fine with. But the pictures are kinda blurry and He isnt even looking at the camera in the second one. guess I cant complain they were free.

So this past monday, the company Erik works for hosted a free shred day with Bill Gephardt from channel 2 news. The did this also in the spring and it turned out great so Bill Gephardt thought it would be great to do it again. They had a great turn out (even in cold weather) and American Shredding got some good exposure from it. Erik was so nervous that he would have to talk on camera again (he doesnt like to talk in front of crowds non the less the news) but he did great. He was on commercials starting last Friday and every day from then to monday. (if I dont say so myself he looks good on Camera!! ) He did so great, I just hope he knows how proud of him I am. He impresses me everyday. I am lucky to have such a good husband that provides for our family. Denique cant get enough of him. We love you Erik!!

Sweet Sweet November

Well November just might be one of my favorite months now. Denique is turning one this month!! I have three more weeks til she is one and only two weeks til her Birthday Party!! I cant believe my little munchkin is already one!! Time has gone by fast.

Also in November is when they start playing Christmas music. Call my crazy but I love to listen to it early. ( I am listening to it as I write this post) I usually have the Christmas tree up by now and the house fully decorated. With Presents wrapped under the tree, but I decided to hold off this year until after her Birthday party.

Halloween was so much fun. Everyone loved Niquies bee costume. She was so funny in it. She wanted to eat all the candy but I didnt let her.

Ready For Church!!Loves her daddy's iphone. We downloaded some games on it for her (mostly you just touch it and it makes noise. There is a tickle monster if you touch it, it laughs and a spongebob one.) But now she thinks every phone is like that. It is funny. She is very entertained by it. Bumble Bee!!!

We have been busy....Busy having fun!!!

Lets see in a nutshell. Lets start with that Denique is now 10 months old. WOW how time flies. I can't believe my little baby is growing up way too fast. She is pretty much running. It is hard to believe that a baby that has only been walking for a month can walk that fast. It didn't take her long to catch on to the walking thing. When she falls down she can get right back up in the middle of the room. What a smart girl. She is also saying "Izzy" (our dog) name. It is too cute I will have to post a video or something of that soon. As well as a video doing a somersault. She is so smart. Her dad has been working with her while I teach cheer. She know to put her hand down and tuck her head. All we have to say is "let's do your somersault, tuck your head" and she does it. Dang cute if I dont say so myself. She is working on her eighth tooth. She is growing up way to quickly. The only thing I cant wait for (besides potty training) is for her to be in a front facing car seat. I am sick of the infant one.

The business is running well. I have about 14 girls signed up for my team and we have started learning the routine they will take to competitions. They are a great group of girls and cant wait to see what the rest of the season brings.

Sorry that I have been so bad at updating my blog. I will try harder.

Where to begin, nothing interesting has been happening.

Denique is now 9 months old. She is walking all over the house and has SEVEN TEETH!! She is so much fun to play with and she laughs at almost everything. She is dang funny. She is really into eating her toes and loves to help with Laundry and loading and unloading the dishwasher. She is always talking her jibberish. (which I love) That girl is always entertaining.

3 Years Down Eternity to Go

This past week was Erik and I's 3 Year anniversary. Erik was so sweet and surprised me with a getaway to snowbird (our honeymoon spot) for a night. We had lots of fun. We took Denique with us but didnt know if we were going to have her spend the night with us or have Erik's mom come and get her, but we wanted to go on some hikes first. It was perfect up there. It wasnt that cold but it wasnt super hot. We went on a hike, went swimming and went to dinner before going up to our room to relax. Erik brought sparkling cider so that was fun. We ended up keeping Niques and not because of me but Erik wanted to keep her so we did. Thanks babe for the wonderful weekend. I love you so much and wouldnt be where I am now without you.

Niquie Turned 8 months old. She is crawling, walking when she wants to, saying words like "uh-oh" "Dad" "Mom" "ow" "whoa" and waving bye -bye. She is the light of my life I love her so much. My family is amazing. Also this past week (on my actual anniversary) I opened my own cheerleading gym!! I know scary right. For all you business owners I give you props, it sure is scary. the first day went well. We had a few set backs but it will be great i will keep you updated on how it goes.

What In the World??

WOW!!!

Ok, So it has been awhile since I have posted last!! I have been a busy bee!!! June went flying by and now it is almost middle of July. What in the world happened to summer?? In June we have like 15 birthdays (well so it seems more like five and three fathers to celebrate) so June always goes by so fast. The fourth of July was great. I HAD to be in the Riverton Parade with the cheerleaders, I would have rather been sitting with my family. I Made Niquie a cute little red white and blue tu-tu (mostly to prove to myself that I could make it) and she looked so dang adorable in it. The last week I have been at cheer camp. 350 cheerleaders surely can make you go insane!! It is nice to be home!

My little Angel Girl is Seven Months old!! In my last post I was saying that she was getting two teeth well they came in but not two teeth THREE teeth on the bottom. I know so weird. She started to scoot awhile ago and now she can army crawl super fast and is starting to actually crawl. She gives up after awhile becuase she is faster at scooting.

My brother had his third little boy on Thursday!! He is super cute and so little. Even though he was over seven pounds, compared to my little chunky monkey he is tiny!!

Time Flies...

WOW!!! It has been one month since I have posted anything!! Nothing really going on to post about!! Denique turned six months old last week!! WOW I can't believe I have had my little Princess for half a year already!! She is getting so big!! She wants to crawl but doesn't quite get it. She can pretty much go from sitting to on all fours but then she gives up and starts to scoot!! She is cutting TWO teeth right now, so she has been a little on the whiney side. We have started her on solid food and she is loving it! She loves the graduate puffs (that melt in their mouth) she eats them like crazy. She can pick them up and get them to her mouth but she doesnt really get to let go. She just sucks on her hand and puff. It gets gross. She is Starting to get HAIR!! She likes to jibber jabber. She talks all the time. Erik says he heard her say Dadadadada but I refuse to believe it!!
I think I am going to get some more family pictures taken soon. So I will post them when I decide to get them done.
I am so excited to finally have summer here!! Erik had his 26th birthday 3 days ago!! My parents gave him a fire pit for the back yard so we will have everyone over to roast some marshmellows!!

Our trip to St. George

Our trip to St. George was a busy one, but still got to have lots of fun!! Here are some pictures of what went down. )besides the competition where I didnt take any pictures) We did swim twice but didnt want Niquie in the sun to long so only stayed about an hour both times. And she was mostly in the shade. She didnt like swimming too much, but I think it was the water was FREEZING!! I didnt even dare to get in because it was so freaking cold and Erik only stayed in for like five minutes. So we mostly just got her feet wet and hurry and took a picture!!

She Loves To Go On Walks, She Always Falls Alseep!! Going Down The Slide With Daddy!! Loving The Nice WeatherDefinately Chubby!! But So Dang Cute!!Scoping Out the Pool!!!Catchting Some Rays!! Well its been a few weeks since I have posted anything. Easter was great we spent time with both families and Niquie looked so cute in her Easter dress. I just wanted to post some pictures of the weekend and other things that have been going on. I started feeding Niquie rice and she loves it. She sits up by herself and rolls over all the time. She loves to smile and laugh. Her keys are her favortie toy but she got some new toys for Easter and she loves those too. My mom gave her this little piano toy and she loves it because she can make it play the music. She loves her puppy, she will just look at her and laugh and smile. it is really cute!! We got her 4 month pictures done but I will not have them back until next week. And then she will almost be five months!! oh well. I will still try to post them when I get them.

We are leaving to mesquite this weekend. I cant wait to take her swimming. I will post some pictures of that when i get back!!

If I forgot anyone I am terribly sorry, But as you can see it is very hard to keep all of these in my head!! It seems like every week I tell Erik "guess who is pregnant?" it is fun to watch all my friends start their families. Jake and Shalise you are next!! Haha!!

So it looks like I haven't posted for a month now!! So let me update everyone on what has been going on!! Valentines day was really fun. We went down to my parents condo in Mesquite NV. We left on thursday and came back on Monday. It was great little Vacation. My parents have a Golf cart down there that is all decked out. Erik took me and Niquie on a ride it was kinda cold but still fun. Niquie loved to look around when we were driving on the golf course. She liked it. My parents took us out to dinner on Valentines. It was such a great dinner. I think all of us order steak. Cant get better than that!!

Ryker was released from the hospital that thursday before Valentines. He was doing so much better until we found out last night he has a double ear infection. Poor little man cant catch a break.

Niquie is getting so big!! She is fun and loves to smile. On Feb. 10th (last time a posted) she actually laughed for the first time!!! It was so cute and now she loves to laugh!! She is such a good girl.

About two weeks ago Erik left on "the boys trip" (where my dad takes my brother and brother-in-laws) to Nascar. Erik left on wed and didnt return til Monday night. Needless to say, harder than I thought to be a single mom!!! It was fun though to be with her all the time. Though my house was not very clean when he got home because when your the only one trying to care for a little one not much time is left to do other things. I realized how much I would need the help of all my family if Erik wasnt around. I had a babysitter almost everyday for Denique when I went to work. Thanks for all of you that helped me. I hung out with my mom and sisters alot which was fun. We were going to scrapbook but I left early because I was tired and had church the next day at nine. But I was so happy when Erik came home. I missed having him there with me everynight to fall asleep with!!

That brings us to this weekend. On Sunday Erik had to teach our Gospel Principles class. He taught on the Atonement. He did such a great job and I am so gratefull for his great and loving Spirit. We went to my mother-in-laws that night for dinner, and we celebrated me and ethans birthdays. It was fun and she had a yummy cake(as always) and Ice cream and then we opened presents. They are so sweet and gave me some travel bags for make up and what not, and money and a hummingbird feeder for our yard. Then on Monday night we celebrated my Birthday with my family. Usually when my family gets together it is really loud and out of control. But this time it was really quiet and peaceful. Coby, Jeremy, Berkley and Boston all stayed home because they were sick. Ericka had to take Ryker to the InstaCare to get Ryker checked for ear infections, so she was gone for a little while but it was still nice to spend time with everyone that was there. Thanks for all the great gifts as well. I got some (needed) clothes and a book to put all my scrapbook pages in for Niquie. Lots of earing (also needed) Taylor Swift Fearless CD and some other little things!! So Today (my real Birthday) Erik, My mom, niquie and I all went to the Draper Temple open house!! What a great way to start a birthday!! It was beautiful inside. It was truely a great thing to see. I cant wait for Oqqurih Mountain to open up as well. For the rest of the day I am just going to sit around til about four oclock til I have to go to work. The big 22. Hopefully it is as good as when I was 21. Poor Little Ryker...

My Nephew Ryker has been at Primary Childrens Hospital since sunday afternoon with RSV. The poor little man is only four months old. Hopefully he can come home today only if he can keep his oxygen levels up on his own. He has been on oxygen since sunday night and the doctors still have to suction out his lungs because of stuff in them!! I will keep you updated on the little guy but if you could keep him in your prayers that would be great!

On a higher note Denique slept through the whole night last night!! She usually wakes up twice and the last few nights it has only been once and then last night she didnt wake up at all!! She is such a good sleeper!! We will see if it lasts though!!

Well it has been a few weeks since my last post so I am here to update everyone!! Life is good at the Brown household. Erik's work is really busy and he is pulling in a lot of business for them. He is a good salesman for sure. I am been super busy with cheer. Both the studio and Riverton High are getting ready for competition. I have been at cheer everyday for the last two weeks it seems. Denique is getting so big. She was two months on wed. She is so fun and is growing to fast. We went to her two month appt on thursday. She is 75% in height and her head and 95% in weight!! We laughed super hard that she is almost off the charts!! But boy do we love those chunky cheeks and thighs!! She is also smiling so much. She was smiling at the nurse (before the shots that is) and the nurse didnt even have to say anything!

I can't believe how fast time is going by. january has come and gone in a blink of an eye. Here are some pictures about what has been going on the last few weeks!!

Blessing Day!!

On Sunday Jan. 11, we blessed little Niquie!! Erik did an amazing job!! I am so lucky to have such a spiritual man!! We enjoyed spending the day with most of our family and friends!! After the blessing we went to my moms house for a breakfast buffet. We made a breakfast quiche, bagels, muffins, fresh fruits, juice and milk!! It was delicious!! Thanks to all my family who helped me put all this together!! What a special day it was!!! Denique was wearing the dress I was blessed in almost 22 years ago. It was really special to Erik and I to have her wear it!! Here are some pictures of that day and some I had taken in her dress two weeks ago!! She is such a chunk now!! I love her cheeks!!

Well A few days ago I had just got done feeding and burping Niquie. She was being just so dang cute and usual, and as usual I am always kissing her. So I leaned in to give her a kiss on her little lips and she spit up right in my mouth!!! (now unlike Cami I spit it out immediatly) but it was not that bad because it was just breast milk and so it just tasted kinda sweet. But there was no way I was going to swallow!! But when it happened I thought of Cami instantly!! Haha Yucky!

Hey Everyone!! The last week and a half has been great! Being a mom is the best experience and feeling. I have been blessed with a good baby as well. The second night home she only woke up once throughout the night!!! Then she caught a cold. I feel really bad cuz I know she got it from me. :( She has been really good though. She never cries I will have to post a video of her crying. Its nothing. haha. anyways she is such a cutie pie. I cant believe all the love that she can bring to our lives.

Denique Bryelle Brown

Denique was born on November 28th 2008 at 9:36 A.M. She weighed 7 Lbs and 10 Ounces and was 19 inches long. I went into the hospital on Thanksgiving night to be started, when I arrived I was already at a 3. Well as the night went on the pitocin (inducing medicine) starting stressing the baby's heart rate and it kept dropping. So they took me off of pitocin put me on oxygen and decided to wait. Her heart finally went back to normal and they decided to break my water. Thats when they noticed that she had marconium (Sp?) where they baby poops in the amniotic fluid, which is dangerous to the baby after they come out if they take their first breath without having it removed. So they started me back on pitocin and my doctor came in to check me around nine in the morning. When he checked me I was still at a 3 but having contractions that were only a minute apart and strong enough that he said that I should be around an 8 or 9. So he thought it would probably be best if we went with a C-Section. he said I could continue the normal way but if the baby showed the slightest amount of stress that he would take me C-Section anyways. So I decided instead of taking the chances of stressing out her heart or anything else that it would be best to go with a C-Section. (all my hard work after being in labor for ten hours) He got me right in to the operating room and we had our baby girl like a half hour later!! Everything is great now. We got home on monday and we are enjoying her sweet spirit and cute little face!

No baby Yet!! My belly really itches and my cough has gotten worse but other than that I dont really mind that she is late. I keep getting FATTER but I guess that is ok. Soon I will be able to exercise again and hopefully go back to normal!! Anyways just want to everyone to know that Erik and I are very Thankful for all our friends and Family!! I have caught a cold!! Nothing is worse than being sick and over due with your baby!! My new worry is that I am going to be sick when I deliver which will make it harder on me but most of all that I wont be able to hold and kiss my little one when she decides to come!! I hope I get better soon!!

Well I went to the Doctors today and He said that I am Dilated to a ONE!! I know its only a one and I could be stuck at a one for a very long time but I was excited that I was at least something. I am also 60% effaced. I am going to try to walk and do whatever I can to get this little one out. The doctor said that she was still high and hasn't dropped!! Goodness Gracious, why cant she just be nice and come. Its not like she is early!! Just joking, if she wants to stay in there for a little longer I am ok with it. We are just finishing up the nursery I will take pictures soon. We got our Video Camera (as an early Christmas gift, Thanks Mom and Dad We love you) and Erik loves to play around and record things on it. He recorded our dog eating for heavens sake!! Silly man. I just ordered her swing and her car seat cover should be here next week to keep her bundled nice and warm for the winter. So with all that said I am glad she is not going to come this weekend I need it to finish everything. Hope everything is going well with everyone. I am glad to say that I only have my mother in law and my dad to shop for and then I will be done with Christmas. Besides my little bundle, Erik and my dog Izzy I guess I need to still shop for them. Erik and I are only doing stockings for each other and I have some good Ideas just need to buy them.

Well I went back to the Doctors today so they could check my blood pressure to make sure it was normal. And it was. So I will keep my bun in the oven for a little longer than this weekend. I am SO UNCOMFORTABLE. My belly CANNOT get any BIGGER!! My stomach itches like crazy. I stayed up half the night last night itching it!! The other bad news is that I am not having any contractions, not even cramping. Well today I thought I might have had one contraction so far but I really dont know. My stomach tightened up for half a minute and then it was back to normal. I wasnt in any pain though. So anyways Erik's family started a pool of when I am going to have her and how much she will weigh, length, day, time, and if she is going to have any hair. I think I am going to start one with my family as well. Maybe it will pass the time a little faster. Everyone thinks I am going late. I am pretty sure they are right. My father in law, and my sister think I am going to have her on Thanksgiving. I will be very mad. Who wants hospital food on Thanksgiving really? Well I will keep everyone updated on the little one who never wants to make an entrance.

Another week and Still NO Progress

Well I went to the doctors again this week, and still NO progress. I am thinkin she is pretty cozy in there and doesn't want to really come out to this cold weather we are having. I cant blame her I dont really enjoy that much myself!! I am still not dialated nor am I effaced at all!! Which pretty much means she hasn't dropped and I am going to be pregnant FOREVER!! So I will just have to enjoy everyone else's babies. So Tarah and Heidi post lots of Pictures of the little ones. And Ericka I will be at your house everyday!! Well I guess she could be coming sooner than I think. My blood pressure was a little higher than it has been lately so my doctor asked me to go back and see him on Thursday so they can check my blood pressure again. If it is higher then they will have to either induce me or I will have to have a C-section depending on how high or serious it looks. If it hasnt changed or goes back to normal then I will still be playing the waiting game!! So I will let you all know if she is coming early this weekend or if I will be waiting!

The Doctors Visit...

Well I went to the Doctor on Tuesday the 4th, and the doctor did a pelvic exam to see if anything was happening yet!! Unfortunately the answer was no!! My cervix is soft but he didnt say that I was thinning or dialated. The good news is, is that since her lung and brain are still developing it is probably a good thing she is ready to come out. I dont want a sick baby especially with the weather we are having!! But I cant wait much longer, not only am I uncomfortable but it seems like everyone has their baby!! My cousin from California is coming with her baby tomorrow, my sister just had her baby and My friends Jason and Heidi just had their precious baby girl on Monday!! She is so cute, she has lots of hair!! So now I just want my little one to be here!! Well I go back to the Doctor on Monday so I will let you know if I make any progress in the next week.

Less than 4 weeks til my little princess is here!! Time has gone by so fast!! I have been so lazy during this whole pregnancy, always tired and sleepy. Well nothing has changed I am even more sleepy now than ever but I am in "nesting mode". I want to clean and organize my whole house and I am trying harder than ever to get her room finished!! I just want my house to be ready for her. Her room is at a stand still and is so messy I dont even know where to begin. I need to sand the blanket chest, magnet board, table, and shelf before I can paint them. Then I need to get her decals up on the walls, finish buying the finsishing touches, put the decorations on the table and shelf, and finish organizing all the gifts I got from my first shower. Speaking of my first Shower thanks to everyone that came!! We had a great turn out! I would say that I had about 40 people come!! Thanks for everyones love and support!! I will be taking pictures of her room as I complete it. Hopefully it wont be to much longer!!

Next week at my doctors appt. my doctor will be doing a pelvic exam. I will let everyone know if He thinks I will come early or not. Sorry if that is to much detail. But I am not a shy person!!

So on Thursday October 9th, the sophmore cheerleader cheered at their last football game. It was against Bingham. It was a great game. Came down to the Last 2 seconds and then Riverton scored and won. YAY!! My girls have been practicing hard for the last few weeks to hit their libs and we finally got them. Kayla can even do lib fulls. Not that anyone really knows what that is besides a few of you. But I am proud so here are some pics from the game.

So yesterday I got caught speeding!! I was on my from one bank to the next and i was on the phone with erik telling him how mad I was at the bank I just left. When all of a sudden I was flagged down by a sherriff!! There were four sherriff cars pulled off the side of the road they were all out of their cars radaring on 12600 S. where it turns from 40 to 35. Well needless to say I go caught!! Then they flagged two more cars right behind me so there was three of us pulled over at the same time. I am lucky though, they let me off with a warning!! I didnt even have to cry though I was about to cuz I was so frustrated with the bank and my pregnancy hormones are crazy!! But NO TICKET FOR ME!!

Baby news and More....

It's been about two weeks since I have posted anything. So here is a little catch up on what has been happening at the Brown residence!

Our Fence is finished!! Erik put alot of long hours into it and it is finally complete!!

In the picture above we are just putting in the post!! So this was the very beginning of our adventure. P.S. if you look at the picture there is a spot of light right over Erik, like a ghost or something, FREAKY!!

I dont have a picture of the completed fence cuz I didn't much care to take one. Sorry. maybe some other time.

In other news, a little more exciting. At least it was for me. Denique's crib is up!! My mom bought the crib last Tuesday and I was so excited I put it together, then wednesday my mom took me to get the Crib mattress!! When I got home I put it in the crib, washed the bedding, waited impatiently for it to dry and then I put the whole thing together!! I am so excited for her to get here!!!

It turned out really cute!! I even put a few stuffed animals in there for her!! The bunny was the first stuffed animal I ever had. It will be her first as well.

Just want to thank my Mom and Dad for the crib as well as the mattress. You guys are awesome!! We love you!!

So you think the shoe fetish was bad!!! Wait til you see all the clothes this girl has!! She already has beaten Erik and I think that she is close to beating me at who has the most clothes!! My mom and mother in law have been going crazy with buying her things. As well as other family members and Friends!! I havent even had my baby showers yet! Definately spoiled!!

It is awesome to see all the love this baby has waiting for her!! Don't worry I have a good variety as well. I already have some clothes that will fit her when she is 3!! I know crazy!! She has FIVE yes that is right FIVE swimming suits for when she is 18 months old. Spoiled Spoiled Child. I cant wait to try all her clothes on her!! Thanks again to everyone!!

I went to the Doctors today for a checkup. Everything looks great!! I am excited that she is healthy so far!! We talked to the doctor about when the baby is coming and stuff like that today. I am quite nervous. My doctor will be out of town, only for 4 days, but he doesn't come back til my due date. I really dont want a different doctor that I dont know let alone trust to deliver my baby. That made me even more nervous but then he said if the baby is in the right position and I am dialated enough that he could take her before he goes. That was exciting news because that means she would be here a week earlier than planned!! And I will be ready for her!! I will keep you all updated on that!!

Hiccups!!

Yesterday I had the day off from work and instead of cleaning my dirty house or doing laundry or putting the baby's room together I laid down on my bed and just let my little girl kick and move and I just sat there and enjoyed it. She had the hiccups yesterday and I think she has had them before but yesterdays was really strong and I knew for sure that is what it was. After the hiccups I saton my bed for about an hour!! She was being so funny!! There is a knee or an elbow up by my ribs and she was poking it out so I would just lightly tickle over it and she would pull it away!! Then like 3-5 minutes later she would poke it out again I would do the same thing by tickling it and she would move it away!! I found it hilarious. She did that for about 15-20 minutes. She is moving like crazy now!! I love it but it is starting to get uncomfortable at times. I try not to complain though because I think how uncomfortable she has to be in there!!

After a long week and Erik putting in many hours of work outside our fence is finally complete!! We had a few complications with measurements, placing posts, equipment, delay of material arriving and weather that made the process a few days longer, but as of last night the fence is complete!! I want to thank all my family (both sides) for helping Erik and I with the fence. Izzy has loved being able to run around without being on a leash. She runs and runs and is loving it. Thanks again for all your help. Now I can concentrate on cleaning my house, organizing my house and the baby's room and putting the baby's room together!!

My sister Tryna has bought 3 different pairs, while my mom has given me some booties (but has 2 pairs of shoes that she is going to give me for my shower) my mother in law gave me a pair of shoes and booties I think. My aunt has given me some really cute socks for her (plus shirts and onsies) She still has three more months in the womb and she already has more shoes than I do!! (maybe not, but it sure does seem like it.) She is going to be one spoiled chicka! I love to shop for her too!! I will need to take some pics of the clothes that people or I have gotten her. Thanks to everyone that has given me things for little Niquie, she has so many people to meet and love!! She is kicking me at the moment which means that she loves you all already! enjoy the pics!!

99 Days...

Well less than 100 days to go til little Denique gets here!! It seems like a long ways away a little over three months but when I think less than a hundred days it makes me feel like I need to kick it in high gear!! I dont even have her crib yet!! No worries though, I think maybe tomorrow Erik and I will head over to Burlington Coat Factory or Babies-r-Us and try to figure out which crib we want for Little Deni. Also I need to get started on decorating her room. I am hand making alot of them and should probably get started on doing it because I am such a slacker!!! I will take some pictures and you guys can give me advice or cute ideas!! We have decided not to paint her room (I know we are horrible parents but she wont know that her room isnt painted until she is older and then when she says something then we will paint it!) Anyways I cant believe how fast time has gone!! I cant believe I will see my little princess in 3 months!!

Hey Everyone! Well nothing really new going on at the Brown Household. We celebrated our 2nd anniversary on the August 4th! I cant believe two years have already gone by so quickly!! Our anniversary fell on a Monday so we actually went out on Sat. August 2nd. Well the night of the first the fourth book of the twilight series came out. I am not really that obsessed with the book but you do get hooked. Erik was nice enough to go to walmart with me and wait in line at midnight when it was released!! (I know he is the best!) We got the books and then for part of my anniversary gift he let me spend 120 dollars on baby stuff!! I got the bedding I wanted plus a really cute blanket and the changing table pad!! I was excited to get more stuff to start her room. I will take pictures of what we have so far and post them but probably not for a while. We finally got home around 1:30 a.m. so we went to bed then on Saturday Erik went with my Brother (and brother in laws) and my dad to the nascar event or something at the Miller Motorsports track. he didnt get back til like 5. I sat home and relaxed read some of my new book and tried to clean my house a little bit. Then we went to the roof for dinner. It was awesome! I have been there with Erik before but it seems like everytime I go the food gets better and better! We enjoyed spending the time together!
On August 4th I started another part time job just for fun and cause i love it. I am the new Riverton High School Sophmore Cheerleading Coach!! It has been exhausting only because of the early morning practices. But I love it. The girls I teach are awesome! they dont give me attitude or anything. The other coaches are awesome. We laugh and giggle at ourselves all day long.
Also cheer season has started at Illuzion dance and cheer. So I have been busy they last few weeks with new squads and girls. It will slow down when school starts for the High School because practice wont be everyday but then i will have football games and the competition squad to work with as well. But I am very excited.

In other news on Sunday the 17th Erik and I have been asked to speak in Sacrament!!! I am so nervous! The last time I spoke in church was when my brother left on his mission! TEN YEARS AGO!!! I am supposed to introduce our family and then speak on "coming to know for ourselves" pretty much about finding our own testimonies and the conversion of ourselves in the church!!
I should be writing my talk right now but again i am slacking.

I have my next doctors appt. On tuesday!! She has been moving so much lately! I love it. Even though sometimes it can be uncomfortable I would rather feel her move then not!! I will let you know what the Doctor says after tuesday! Only 14 more weeks to go!!!

Well not much going on but I thought I would update everyone on Erik and I's life. We went to Lake Powell last week. I love Lake Powell it is my favorite Vacation spot. Unfortunately when your pregnant there isn't much to do. Thank goodness we are on a houseboat so I could chill inside on the really hot days. Since I have been pregnant I am even more deathly afraid of spiders, and in the slips at Lake Powell are probably the BIGGEST SPIDERS ever!! There were a few sleepness nights where I thought spiders were climbing all over me!! On a better note, my little girl kicked me alot down there. Maybe it was the heat I am not sure. Also Erik felt her move for the first time. It was so cool. She is getting so strong and its the coolest thing ever. If I dont feel her move I get freaked out that something might be wrong. I am a nut case!! But then she will kick me almost like she is teasing me. She lets me get to the point where I am like she hasnt moved in a long time and I am freaking out then all of a sudden she will let me know that she is there. Hopefully its not a sign that she is going to push to my limits on everything! It could end up to be a long 18 years. Just Joking I am excited to experience all the good and bad with her. Anyways... We got back on Sunday and on Monday our changing table came!! Erik and i put it together and it is making me even more excited and makes it more real that I only have four more months til she is here!! I need to pick out her crib now!! Well I will keep everyone posted if anything new comes along.

On Tuesday June 24, Erik and I found out that we have a healthy baby GIRL on the way!! We are so excited. I had already bought some girl clothes so I was hoping it was a girl. My mom was so excited she cried. She was waiting for another little granddaughter and she got one. Her are her ultrasound pictures. She is sucking her thumb in one of the pictures. That is my favorite one along with her profile. The other ones are of her leg and foot. One where she is getting ready to suck her thumb and one that has an arm leg and part of her head in it. I found this changing table online at Babies-R-Us. It was on sale and Erik said that I could get it. (Since we are trying to get the baby's room together, I know its early but we want a jump start on things cause we are slackers!!) I am so excited about the changing table that I had to post it. It is the first piece of furniture we have bought for the baby so I am really excited. I have more post to come so keep checking back!!

My mom came over to help me this morning with my flowerbeds in the front of my house. There were weeds everywhere. The person we bought the house from obviously didn't know what the heck He was doing. He planted big bushes in the middle of no where and now Erik and I have to dig them up and move them. SO ANNOYING! I don't really enjoy bugs that much, so pulling weeds and planting flowers is oh so wonderful to me. Anyways I am in a really bad mood now thanks to 2 hours of gardening. It is Eriks turn for the rest of his life!!
